Citrasafe-HC:

Citrasafe-HC is a highly concentrated solution containing powerful antiseptic chlorhexidine gluconate and cetrimide having multiple applications including disinfection and cleaning of surgical wounds, pre-operative antisepsis and disinfection of thermometers and medical devices.

Citrasafe-RTU preparations are contraindicated for patients who have previously shown hypersensitivity to either chlorhexidine or cetrimide. However, such reactions are extremely rare.
