Energy Saver Coating utilizes the very latest in ceramic micro-spheres similar to that used by NASA (USA) for space shuttle tiles. This coating has been shown to reduce heat gain from the sun by up to 40%.This coating is an Elastomeric Thermal Insulation and Water proof coating. It is 100% acrylic LOW VOC (Volatile organic compounds) insulating rubber like roof coating specificaly engineered to improve the effictive insulation of roofs and exterior walls. Once applied it acts as an invisible radient heat reflecting barrier that improves comfort, reduces heating and cooling requirements, blocks moisture, and dampens ambient noise. It reduces the heat loading into structure up to 40%. The highly effective radient barrier, heat reflecting roof coating is designed for maximum thermal efficiency and years of troblefree service. Its special formulation lowers the VOC content, which add to the odor of most coating, as well as contribute to various form of air pollution. Leak proof combined with high reflectivity, weather ability, ultraviolet resistence, adhension and ease of application makes this paint as an effective coating for providing leak proof and long term reflectivity over a wide range of roofing substrates. It forms heat barrier, flexible, and strong film which bridges cracks, prevents peeling, future cracks, growth of Algae or Fungi. It prevents water seepage and is Ultraviolet resistant. How Energy Saver Coating Works ?
This paint insulating coating contain tiny ceramic micro-spheres of 30-100 micrones in diameter. The tiny microspheres act as highly efficient thermal barriers, so that when the coating dries, they form a barrier against heat transfer. The layer is created by the microspheres coming closer as the coating dries, until they eventually touch each other forming a single, very thin ,thermal barrier. This barrier reflects, refracts and dissipates heat, thereby keeping heat in a structure during the cold months and out of the structure during hot months. As they are true microspheres, the ceramic particles do not add weight but increase the strength of coating. this helps to keep down the weight loading on the structure being coated. This paint has ceramic micro-spheres which create a thermal barrier. They refract, reflect and dissipate heat.
